I am a graduate student right now, studying the medicinal properties of native plants.  I plan to become a veterinarian  someday when my husband's job allows.  In the mean time, I am a teaching assistant at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and am learning about animal nutrition.  Mirea is my kitty, she eats homemade food based mostly on a raw diet concept, but with many variations as I feel curious or inspired.
